Entry Requirements
For Dance Performance (including concentrations on Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Ballet, Modern Dance and Ballroom Dance), applicants should hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 4; for Choreography, Dance Studies, Drama Film and Television Art Design, Art Management, applicants should hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 5.
Note:
1. Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports; Well-behaved, abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, no criminal record.
2. The applicant's health conditions should meet BDA's requirements and should be under the age of 40.
3. According to the Document No. 12 (2020) and Document No. 83 (2009) issued by Ministry of Education of China, the applicant who has a foreign nationality and non-Chinese citizen, as well as one or both parents of whom are Chinese citizen but reside abroad, if applying for our undergraduate programs as an international student, except for meeting the above requirements, must possess a valid foreign passport or Certificate of Nationality at least 4 years and has a record of actual residence in foreign countries for at least 2 years within the last 4 years (till April 30th in the first year of studying). During one year, living in foreign countries outside China for 9 months or more could be considered as one year, based on the entry-exit record and stamps of the passport. Applicants who was citizens of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who migrate to foreign countries and obtain foreign nationality should also meet the same requirements.

2. Related art performance or art works
For Ballet concentration, excerpt of dance repertoire should be classical ballet variations; for Musical Theater concentration, the following personal video materials should be provided: two singing works, one of which should be a musical theater work; performance with Chinese line within 3 minutes; Solo sketch drama performance within 5 minutes; dance work excerpt within 2 minutes, and technique presentation within 1 minute.

7. Related art performance or art works
For Dance Performance, personal dance video is required. It includes presenting the basic requirements of the candidate: wearing tight training suit, no make-up, facing the camera half-body and full-body, doing vertical forks, horizontal forks and back bends in 1 minute; excerpt of dance repertoire in 2 minutes; personal technique presentation in 1 minute.

For Dance Studies and Art Management, personal dance video is required (including excerpt of dance repertoire in 2 minutes, technique presentation within 1 minute and for art management, a candidate can provide a personal performing video like dance, drama, music) and at least 1 relevant academic essay (written in Chinese, less than 1000 Chinese characters).
10. Related art performance or art works
For Drama Film and Television Art Design, personal original painting is required (with signature on it).
11. Applicant who abandoned his/her Chinese Nationality and then joined a foreign nationality should also submit
1) Certificate of Naturalization;
2) Proof of cancellation of the original residence;12. Related art performance or art works
For Dance Choreography, personal dance video is required (including excerpt of dance repertoire in 2 minutes, basic technique presentation in 1 minute and personal original work in 3 minutes and interpretation of original work in Chinese).

For Dance Education, personal dance video is required (including excerpt of dance repertoire in 2 minutes, techniques presentation in 1 minute).
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
